Your Privacy Choices
Last updated:
Under U.S. state privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and similar laws in Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and Utah, you have the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information. While AuthorsLaunchPad does not sell personal data for money, we may share limited data with analytics and advertising partners to improve our services and measure performance.
Global Privacy Control (GPC): If your browser sends a GPC signal, we automatically treat it as an opt-out request for that device and browser. You do not need to take further action.
Opt Out by Email
To submit an opt-out or privacy request, simply email us using the link below. Your email client will open a pre-filled message you can complete and send to our privacy team.
What Happens Next
- We’ll confirm receipt of your request within 10 business days.
- We may verify your identity by replying to confirm you control the submitted email address.
- Once verified, your request will be processed within 45 days as required by law.
Scope of Your Request
Browser-level opt-outs (such as GPC or cookie preferences) apply only to this device and browser. Email-verified requests apply to your account across all devices.
Authorized Agents
You may designate an authorized agent to submit a privacy request on your behalf. We will require the agent to provide written authorization and proof of identity before completing the request.
Verification of Requests
To protect your information, we may need to verify your identity before completing a privacy request. Verification is done by confirming control of your email address and, if necessary, requesting limited details already known to us. If we cannot verify your identity with reasonable certainty, we will explain why and may deny the request as permitted by law.
